Val's Memories: How SNU LEI goes about??

Hello! Sorry for not updating this 1 month, due to mid-term exam and friends came to visit! :)
So...about how classes have been going?? I will say pretty good and for mid-term I did better than expected!! Each level will complete 18 chapters within 10 weeks, and each chapter takes 2 days.

For each lesson, you will be taught 2 grammar. Teacher will teach using everyday circumstance, example they will ask you what did you do yesterday? what you going to do today or coming weekend? I find it good as I can understand better and sometimes I started using it like right away while talking to my friends. After every chapter, there will be homework asking you to form 2 sentences for each grammar that had been taught for the chapter itself.

There will be a review after every 3 chapter and a role play test. Where your partner and you have to create a script using what you have learnt, memorize it and do the play in-front of the class. This role play is part of the total score for exam, so don't screw it up!

There is essay writing after 2-3 chapters and the topic are given to you on the very first day of class. Schedule for the whole 10 weeks will be given too. Where it stated when you have to hand-in your sentences, role-play and essay.

One last thing is that, for level 2 each person will have to do a presentation! 1st ppt will be during the first 5 weeks (for mid-term test) and 2nd ppt during the next 5 weeks (for final exam). Topic will be given also on the 1st day of class. This presentation is to test your speaking skills,and you will have to prepare your script and hand-in for teacher to check 3 days before your ppt day. So no worries about it, all you have to do is to do your best in writing and teacher will correct your mistake. Then all you have to do is do a power-point slides with pictures and photos and memorize your script will do =D

For every level there will be a excursion and for level 2, we when to the Traditional Korean Music Center (국립국악원).
